Question for boaters about bank fishing.

With the water so low right now, I am planning to walk the shore on my next trip to the lake (instead of just staying in just one spot). I was wondering which side of the south fork has better fishing and better cover if I am walking downstream starting from the bridge? Wahiawa side or Schofield side?
Same for the North fork if I am walking downstream from that bridge. Wahiawa side or pineapple field side?
I figured that the boaters here who cover a lot of water would be able to answer this one.
Thank you.

tuff walk from the bridge,id walk from kunia point myself, some wood cover along the bank with lots of points going in both directions, banks may be steep and muddy from the rain closer to the bridge.north fork id take the wahiawa side, less steep and more cover along the shore but limited to the one stretch youcan see from the road before it gets too a cliff. its rained alot this past week up there,be prepared for mud! good luck.wouldnt want to see one of those nice reels covered in mud! hahaha, hay your missing crankbait may be above water and reachable now if no one else has claimed it!

I agree with Basstracker on the north fork. I've always caught more on the Wahiawa side than the NS side. Haven't fished the south fork much.

What about that point of land off of Malulu Place that ends at Blue Boat Pt.
Driving North, turn left on California Av. and follow it to the end. Malulu Pl is on the left. Might have to go over or around a fence.

One guy I know walks into Morgans Pt. from the North Fork Bridge.
He catches a few from time to time. (before you guys get all excited about Catch & Release... this was when we were catching fish last year for the Health Dept. fish testing) These are all over 3 1/2 pounds. I think he caught 30 something fish... all on lures, and all from shore. I love it when the fish are schooling.
