The Duckett rod did great, however, I didn't do great. I lived up to my screen name! I'll talk about that later. The rod is light, sensitive, and seems to be well built. It is my 3rd rod with micro guides. I love them. The guide I fished with just secured a sponsorship with them and he really likes them too. Honestly, not just BS-ing to support his sponsor. I hear mostly good things about the Zillion rods, but the one negative I hear is that they feel kinda "dead" in the hand. Hard to explain, but I guess it would be the opposite of how a Loomis GLX feels somewhat hollow and tinny when you tap on them. I guess it is best to try one out first.
Thanks for the invite Alec. We'll see. We're here until the 28th.
