Got a new "ride" and taught her how to fish today :D Caught 10 on a lake called Oak Creek Lake in Bronte, Texas...it's about 45 mins from where I'm stationed now. Fishing a tournament there next weekend and maybe I will get a chance to fish at the famous OH Ivie on Sunday. I'm missing Lake Wilson and Hawaii weather, managing 10 fish was a lot of work and it was over a 104 degrees outside!!!!

I used to suffer on long runs in good weather in my old partners champion. 65 degress feels like 30 at 60mph with no console. THERE IS SO MUCH STORAGE SPACE! It's at least double the storage of my old tracker..I think I could crawl in the rod lockers and take a nap :)

Cash money! Not a lot though entry fee is only $15 big fish is $5. I think there were about 15 anglers...I guess most of the big money tournaments end in may

before going to kayak and canoe, used to paddle, back in the good ol' days, like a hawaiian canoe, a cheap inflatable (two guys). i remember it being 8 feet i think. cheap vinyl one. bought it at the old Wahaiwa Coronet store. we used to paddle that thing for four hours straight, to get far up the north fork. we'd come back covered in mud.
