Question : Why are pirates so mean ?
Answer: They just AAAARRRRRRRRRR !

As far as live bait, I had a couple of nice tucs that day hit on the mosquito fish. They didnt even look at the tilapia so I hit on on the head with a midoka and he sucked it in. Later we threw some plastic and I got a nice 2lb LM on a watermellon sinko. Getting some practice in for Lake El Salto.

With all the rain and wind we've been having the last couple days I think the timing was perfect as far as dory recovery otherwise the water level rising combined with the strong winds, and current would have wound up pushing the dory over the spillway, and it shattered to pieces at the bottom.
Thanks again!

Next time I go to the lake I'm bring a couple hundred Medaka from my backyard. I know if I was a Tuc I'd prefer a soft finned Medaka over a larger pokier finned Tilapia.

So that's where you found your loot. :D
Caution - Objects in picture are smaller than they appear.

I am genetically predisposed to make fish look bigger than they really are.
