needle fish in lake wilson??

Postby edde978n » Thu Oct 13, 2011 9:27 pm

Today while fishing there were tons of what looked like small needle fish near the shore. I would almost say they looked like small needle nose gar. Do any of you guys know what they are?

Thats what most call them. Needle fish or stick fish. Its basically a miniature gar. They are not good for much.

We caught these on live medaka (minnows). Just let your bait swim close to shore... no weight.
