Where's the water going?

Postby Transton » Mon Aug 22, 2011 6:23 pm

I was at Lake Wilson not even a week ago, I came back today and noticed the shoreline has dropped about 7 ft! I couldn't get anything to bite today, the fishes homes are now on shore. What's goin on with the lake, anyone know?

Does it do this every year and then come back up? Or is this unusual at all?

Although the level has been fairly constant the last 6-8 months, Dole is always lowering the water level as a safety measure against flooding downstream of the dam. Typical of our lake.
