The Duckett rod did great, however, I didn't do great. I lived up to my screen name! I'll talk about that later. The rod is light, sensitive, and seems to be well built. It is my 3rd rod with micro guides. I love them. The guide I fished with just secured a sponsorship with them and he really likes them too. Honestly, not just BS-ing to support his sponsor. I hear mostly good things about the Zillion rods, but the one negative I hear is that they feel kinda "dead" in the hand. Hard to explain, but I guess it would be the opposite of how a Loomis GLX feels somewhat hollow and tinny when you tap on them. I guess it is best to try one out first.
Thanks for the invite Alec. We'll see. We're here until the 28th.
which one?

Do not move to Texas if you can't pass up a good deal! Academy stores had curado e series on clearance for $119. Most locations were sold out, but I found one 201E. When I got there, I saw that it didn't have a box, so I pretended to be upset, so they knocked it down to $107!!! Pretty good for a $179 MSRP reel!
