Rod and reel overboard

Postby fish4fun » Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:48 pm

In case someone comes across it. Took some young nephews fishing last Sunday evening and lost one rod/reel combo over the side. It was a spinning reel on a cabelas rod. Lost it close to shore a little bit north of bbp. I will try to retrieve it this Sunday, maybe i'll get lucky with the dropping water level. But if anyone comes across it, I'd appreciate a holler. Mahalo!

Got on the lake late after 5 pm. Fished with my nephews where we lost the rod last week By bbp and had some luck as they caught about 10 tucs including one 4#r, and luckily for me one of them hooked and landed the lost rod and reel. Awwwright!

That 4lb tuc was a good catch!

Catching the overboard rod/reel-priceless!

Glad a bucketeer didn't snag it as you wouldn't have gotten it back.
