Guys, I've got 30+ LMB/PB weights & lengths documented, most being smaller fish. I'd like to concentrate more on the 17" and larger fish. I suspect that these larger fish may be underweight, maybe not the case with the little guys. If you catch any LMB or PB 17" or longer, if you could measure & weight it and get me the stats.

Thanks to all that have contributed to this survey. I'm looking forward to the results and recomendations of the fisheries marine biologist and look forward to sharing the results with all of you.

:o
Go catch LARGER fish he says!
Over 17 inch...
How does 24 or 25 inch LMB sound?
Just go right there and catch more BIG ones he says.
Well, it won't be for lack of trying

ok finally a day on the water too add to this thread! lets see got 7 tucs all inthe 2lb class,2.2,2.4 and so on nothing big but all busters, i dont do spawners all ranged from 12-14 inchs. and this is really odd cause i just checked your chart on pg one but i got a 18in 3lb 4 oz largemouth and a 15 in 1lb 13oz largemouth and about 12 dinks. dunno how that chart was figured but i hit it on the nail somehow!

Roadwarrior already has the weight, but I will put it up here to for people to see. 16 inch(about 95% on that) and 2.12oz. Got him dropshotting on my 6ft med action crucial/sustain combo loaded with 6lb mono...felt like a 4 or 5 pounder. I think roadwarrior had a 17 incher that was also 2.12lbs.

Here is a sad report of a bass I caught today, 8-6-11, way up the north fork, more evidence of a need for lake management. I didn't have scales or a tape, but the pic says it all.

I caught one up there like that before a while back..maybe it was the same fish. It was so skinny it's belly looked like a knife, I thought it was sick or had something wrong with it inside.
