Ownership of lake to change hands.
"Why let the truth stand in the way of a good fish story?"
This could go either way. If the state ends up owning the lake then the present situation of fishing in the resevoir would not change much. If anybody else (anybody being a big company) then it could go three ways, 2 of which would be acceptable. Situation 1: Nobody gets to fish the resevoir.
#2: The company stocks resevoir aggresively and creates a pay to fish lake, that will not require a license. They may then lift, expand upon, or leave in place certain state regulations as the lake will be privatley owned, and hence be above state regulation.
#3: The company does not do anything to the resource and just makes it so you do not need a license.
Of these options either #3 or the state one sounds best in my opinion. I wonder how this will play out.
