Doesn't sound good. Hopefully they will remedy the situation soon. Any word from Annette yet Stan?

It was 10 blocks this morning when I launched. Didn't count when I hauled out but I would guess around 12 at 4:30.

I saw CA_Bass at the boat ramp today on my lunch break. We counted 15 slats showing.

ouch, its approaching the end of the slats then very fast, mud only and launching sideways to hit any water, and that may only last a short time before its dirtbiking only at the ramp :(

Yeah it's pretty bad. I don't know how longer it will be fishable..once I got down to the main basin the deepest spot my graph showed was 38ft. I would imagine a lot of the fish will head doen that way.

did a quick scan of posts from when it was danger low about 2yrs ago and 18 slats before just mud. launching was still possible but not much water to get the boat back onto the trailer. guess this will be the end of boats on the lake till something is done. lowest water level i found in the posts was 58ft.

My guess is that it's about 59 feet now....

Bringing this thread back to life. The lake is back to a very healthy level, thanks in part, to this much needed rain. Last I heard the broken flood gate/valve was about 3/4 closed. Maybe its totally closed now? The water has completely covered the pile-on's just north of Karston Bridge! 8) North fork is VERY muddy but should clear a few days after the rain stops. According to the USCG chart, we're at 75' now. Wouldn't be surprised if it raises a couple of feet after today's rain.

Water clarity was about a foot or less in the main part of the lake on Tuesday.
I guess that's called "stained".

There were a lot of trucks and people around the dam last week... Hopefully it was for fixing the valves.
