High Dirty Water

Big peacocks can be caught during high dirty water. I have caught many, some in the 6 ibs. range. You just need to figure out the pattern. Yes, you can also pattern peacocks. With the right lures and approach, you too can score big. So I hope for high dirty water.

Pattern the peacocks? Should be easy enough. Post up pics of the Tucs that are over 6 lbs. Anything smaller is just boring.

Never seen anyone catch peacocks in heavy stained water on lures. Im sure if you found a school thats in a feeding mode in stained water maybe vibrating bait i could see it happening! i think the hardest part is working the water blind with no visibility of structure and actually finding the fish and getting them to bite. I usually get frustrated feel like im throwing in the blind and wasting my time. I like to know where the fish are and try different techniques to get them to start biting. I don't mind fishing for lm in stained water i usually throw a worm tight to cover worked slow. Anyone went fishing since the rains?

I seem to remember John catching some tukes using a loud, green, spinner bait once. Water was dirty. Yea, I think so.

Went fishing for 2 hours with my wife heres a couple pictures of the water level looking at morgans and 3 small bass we caught missed 2 others seen a school of tucs in the bay but they didnt want to eat any plastic or rubber today for some reason lol!

It looks like we're all catching the LMB from the same generation as they all seem to be about the same size.

Luke and I tossed some live bait from noon till 4pm. Picked up five tucs and two of those same size largemouth. Sorry, can't post any pics.... all under six lbs.

Nice report Fisher Dude... water looks nice on that end of the lake.
That's the same size bass we were catching a few weeks ago.... all under 10 pounds.

I sure am thankful for wahiawa middle for the released stock! If it weren't for them id be skunked all winter. cant wait till the summer bite heats up and the tucs start eating rubber and plastic again!
