Well it kills sight fishing, but is anyone going out fishing this weekend? I was researching past spills and there have been 9,000 gallon spills in years past. This spill was reported at 700 gallons. I mapped where the treatment plant is and where the dock is. There is about 1.25 miles of water inbetween the dock and the plant. I marked it on this map with a "D" and a "W". I am assuming that the dam is open and that the flow of water would take the sewage towards the dam and away from the dock. This would make the South Fork a fairly clean area.
This is an older shot with the sylvani molesta still on it.
Maybe this is all wishful thinking because I just want to go fishing.
Does anyone have any insight? Is anyone gonna fish regardless of the spill? Has anyone had any problems before or fished after a spill?
Any input would be great.
I've been Crappie Fishing before, but crappy fishing is unfamiliar territory for me.
Is the Sewage Spill scaring anyone.

spill
Nice shot, I recognized the sulvania molesta right off. I don't think the spill will make much difference, the problem for me is the muddy water. The peacock bass should be starting to spawn and since the water is so high and so muddy you can't do any sight fishing at all.
I talked to one guy who caught two peacock bass using live bait. We got nothing on lures. Chris caught 2 on a surface lure near Morgans Pt. The water on the north fork seems just a little clearer. LOL
After the rain stops it should start clearing up in 2 weeks or so.
