Wow, the rain came and the water level came up about 12 to 14 feet.
Here is a shot of what the little cove beside the boat ramp looked like the day befor the rain... looking South.
Same angle the day after the rain. Again looking South.
Now we're standing at water level on the boat ramp looking North.
Now standing at waters edge on the ramp after the rain, looking North
Here is another shot of that little cove from the top of the boat ramp looking up the hill.
This is the boat ramp with a new sign. Seems we are under a "Brown Water Advisory".
These next two pictures were taken behind the masonic Temple. The first is looking up stream.
This is looking North toward Boy Scout Island.
Boy Scout Island.
This Is a shot looking toward the dam from Leon's.... behind Kemoo Farm.
The shoreline behind Kemoo Farm.
This picture was taken near the North Bridge. Notice all the logs and junk floating in the water.
I have a feeling the fishing won't be too productive for a few weeks till the water clears up. The fishing also drops off after a rise in the water level.
If any of you guys are on the lake tossing a buzz bait or loud crank bait.... let us know how you did.

Any time there is a big rain the lake may rise a foot or two. It doesn't usually turn muddy until there is a turential rain.... we had 19 inches in the last few days.
Any time there is even a foot or 2 rise the bite shuts down for a few days.
I figure the fish will start feeding again in another week. The water won't clear up for 2 or 3 weeks.
I was checking the fishing reports over the last few years and we've had some really good fishing in Dec., Jan., and Feb. (if the water is clear)
LOL

Greetings all,
Just wait when the color start to change to clear. Some of my best bass bites here, occured right after water started to clear.
If you can find an area where there is a transition from mud to clear, fish right at the edge of the mud line, most bass and Tuc's are hiding and waiting for an ambush!!
Fish too have to eat!!
