Drop-Shotting?
Just curious, does anyone here use the drop-shotting technique to fish for bass in Lake Wilson. From my limited exposure to this technique it seems limited to the deeper waters so what area of Lake Wilson have you been successful in using this technique? Mahalo.

Ahnkochee,
The times I've dropped shot the lake, I've had some success. Though most of the bass were small, I believe if you put the time in, you'll be lucky.
Drop shotting is one of my favorite ways of catching bass back in SoCal. I normally use a 7ft spinning rod, with an extra fast tip, 5-6 lbs maxima flouracarbon line, with either a slim senko, 5 - 7 inch worm, or basstrix baits.
If you can work the edges, with a good trolling motor, you'll really slay the fish.
Good luck!
