where can we fish from shore or someone to guide us?

hi there,

we r headin to hawaii for a 1 week holiday and would like to experience some oahu freshwater fishing. I've booked for a deep sea charter already.

we are seasoned fisherpeople who have spent a couple of years in Minnesota, ctaching anything from walleye, sm/lm bass to salmon in lake michigan

is there someplace where we can fish from shore at your local lake (do I need waders, off spray and other euipment other than my rod) or is there someone who can bring us out (or should I sign up for the charter that is offered on this site?).

oh, if anyout there who does not mind a husband and wife couple on their boat for a bit, we'll gladly pay for gas and bait. we'll be in town from 20 to 22nd Oct.

where can I buy some bait and what should I get?
