What's behind the sudden rise of Lake Wilson? Here's the latest reading including the last 90 days.

It would be wonderful if it stayed above 75 feet. There would be more fish. Anybody know why the lake is looking more like a lake and less like a drain? Your thoughts?

Unfortunately, the DNLR uses the lake for flood control. Holding back the water during storms. Releasing the water when the weather clears. Hurts the fishing, but helps the people who live in the flood zones in Wailua. Kind of sucks. I doubt if they pay anything for the service.
