Does any one know why this happened?

Hello,

I have a yamaha DTX-532 electronic drumset and I just plug it directly via usb to the macbook pro to use the logic drums plug-ins on my recordings, but i am having an issue. Logic does not recognize the border edge of my hi hat cymbal, so instead of hit it on the border i have to hit it strictly on the center (if not, i will miss the note) which makes my recordings more difficult because every time I hit the border edge of the hi hat by mistake, it docent sound and mess all the recording. Does any one know why this happened? Drum set its working perfectly by it self and also with logic. Logic drums plug-ins also working perfect, just that issue.

Please help.
