Shoreline fishing

I'm new to fishing Lake Wilson. I've fished from the boat ramp area about 2 weeks ago. Other than the boat ramp, is there any other shoreline fishing around the lake?
I'm also looking for accessible streams in the town area. Haven't gotten to look at Manoa stream yet. I've looked at Salt lake but no entrance unless you go onto Honolulu Country club property.
I'm not new to bass fishing, I do most of my bass fishing in Louisiana. Brother in law has a lake on his property, Its about 36 acres.
Any suggestion would help. Itching to catch some bass on this Island.
