Pink on sale at Long's

Postby Stan Wright » Mon Oct 21, 2013 9:47 am

Tying some damashi (Flys) this morning and ran out of clear fingernail polish (Head Cement)
Long's had these on sale for only 79 cents. Figured since I was using pink thread, why use "clear" to seal the thread.
The check out guy ask if I was sure "I got the right color"?:D ... all the ladies in line laughed.
LOL LOL LOL

Same thing happens when you go to a craft store and I come out with feathers, pipe cleaners, and corks. They also ask why a guy is buying scrapbook stuff lol lol

Where's a good area for catching Bluegills on the lake using Tenkara?
I want to catch a medium small keeper for my fish tank. Mahalo! Very Happy

I've caught them all over the lake from time to time. If your fishing from a boat, the saddle between the dam and Kemoo Island usually has some. Last trip I caught in Tuke Bay up on the north fork.

The grassy area on the right side of the spillway used to keep BGs. One day me and my father-in-law caught 50 BGs there. Long shank hook with crickets. Near most any grass patch that is in the water may hold BGs.
