was that largemouth caught on kauai? or at lake wilson? looks like our wahiawa largemouth - skinny! has anyone figured out why our largemouth are so seemingly undernourished? altho i like the fight of a tuc, i remember years ago that the largemouth were more "normal" in proportion - much healthier ...

This tournament will be a cyber event. Since all the islands have fisherman using my lures the simplest way to do a state wide tournament is to do it with the help of ulua-fishing.com HFN will also run application info. in the August issue. surfspot, have you tried your smallest lures for red devils yet? Stan may have tried. I have caught Tilapia in the stream below my house on the 1/8 and 1/4 oz. Since Red Deveils are Cichlids like Tilapia I would think they'd hit them. I used a slow retrieve, swimming a 6"- a foot below the surface.
