Re: Plan afoot to develop Hawaii’s Lake Wilson into major hydroelectric project
Not sure if it would cause current but the Savanah river lakes I fished were power lakes and when they were pulling water the bite was hot!

High Water LOTS OF TRASH!
Water was at the 80ft marker on BSI! Main lake had decent visibility, upper ends were muddy. LOTS of debris, made fishing challenging. Ended up with 4 largemouth on jigs, missed a few more.
Had a few blowups on topwater later in the day... should have done that earlier!

Good day 31 May
Good day out on Lake Wilson today. The Tucs were eating and aggressive and we got into some schooling action. Biggest tuc was 5.99lbs, 2nd biggest was about 4.5 or 5lbs and a couple 3.5lbers not pictured. All on artificials :) http://s24.postimg.org/cx6ea4oy9/2015053195125430.jpg http://s22.postimg....

Bonefishing 5 April
Dusted off the fly rod for the first time in 4 years and ended up having a good day! Fished from 1000 to 1pm (low tide was at 1024). The action started off fast, with a small bonefish that can unbuttoned before I could see it. Shortly after that I hooked into a big one had me 50yds into my backing b...

Sunday April 3rd
Water level is way up! thought the fish would be in the grass but I didn't catch them there. Caught 5 small tucs on small swimbaits. 3 largemouth on creature baits; both tucs and bass came off of wood. I saw a couple of spawners but wasnt really looking for them. One of the largemouth was about 3lbs...

Friday there were A LOT more tucs shallow! found one group that was really aggressive. Water wasn't any warmer than Wednesday but the lengthening of daylight hours is probably putting them in "the mood". The groups I saw were quite aggressive one group that I caught 2 tucs from (lost two more) proba...

Caught 2 tucs today on small jerkbaits, no size to them though. The tucs were fairly shallow near laydowns. Zip it in tight, through, across, around laydowns and work it fast and kill it everynow and then. Bass were a little deeper than the tucs. water temp was near 75 and I did see a couple of Tucs...

Yeah down sizing is key due to the size of the shad. However you can still catch tucs on the bigger baits. They will be better quality but lower numbers. Another way to catch tucs when they are deeper like they are now is on a grub and darterhead jig or a small swimbait and a darterhead. Also if the...

went today no peacocks... actually last peacock i caught was a month ago... but it was a 5lber on a fat free shad in about 12ft of water.... blue back and chartreuse. If i was targeting right now i would probably do about the same thing... maybe use a fluke jr or the small size suspending x-raps. wa...
