Some may think I'm going a little overboard but my boat has a ton of storage space so I use it well. This what I keep in my boat: Tools: A whole socket set, multi tool, a ratcheting screw driver that has flat head and phillips heads of multiple sizes, electrical tape, an assortment of electrical con...

I used to have a few of those in my fish tank, can't remember what type of chiclid it is...it's driving me nuts! It's definitely a chiclid. The pet store by the Navy exchange used to sell them.

There was no fish involved with this accident. Infact nobody even had a rod in their hand. That rod was actually strapped down on the front deck. I keep my measuring board out and and handy and I also put it under the rod strap. When I slide it underneath the strap and that's how it got me. I was mo...

I wish I could have taken it out myself. It was stuck in my right hand and I'm right handed for one. The other issue was it was almost in the center of finger where the bone is and went straight down where the barb was pointing to the bottom of my finger. It definitely wasn't coming out the way it w...

Storage space was a must when I was choosing my new bass boat. Super nice having 2 7.5ft rod locker, plus I can hold another 6 rods on the passenger side.

If you can look up the vin you may be able to track down what it was rated for. How long is it? If you're gonna use it in the ocean at all i'd put as big a motor as it's rated for and you can afford. If its just gonna be used at wilson I bet a 40hp would be more than enough. Could you tell what was ...

That is coming along nicely! Did you ever find out what type of boat it was?

Good idea extenting the casting deck! Those older bass boats really wasted a lot of space there.

Can't wait to see it finished.

hook in the hand!

So went out with my son today intending to go crappie fishing. We did that for a little while, missed a few fish and ended up catching 1 crappie. Then I get a call from my friend to fish points with a fluke....that was frustrating! Caught a few doing that but probably missed close to 15 fish...they ...

Good thing I'm not in HI! These are my thoughts on the rule: 1). It's a catch and release lake for the bass and tucs, so why does it matter how many lures you use simultaneously if you're throwing the fish back anyways. 2). (This isn't a really good way to look at it, just being honest) Who's gonna ...

I've thrown the A-rig a little bit. I can definitely see the potential. I'm going to try fishing it more like a spinnerbait tmw. Throw it around docks cover. It's pretty amazing how life like it looks. Initially I thought with all that wire it would detract from the natural look of the swimbaits, bu...

May be an old ranger...the graphic looks rangerish to me. That things gonna be a lot of work. But it will be well worth it when you're done! I've seen a few people who restored bass boats and instead of carpet went with rhino/lava liner. I guess it does a couple things. Heard it can make it a little...

Looks like you need to bust out the flippin sticks and dark colored creature baits. And flip the heaviest cover you can find. You gotta hit the same spots repeatedly to get em to see your bait.

Oooo like the goodies! I see you got the cabellas version of the spot remover(stand up jigs) those are killer out here when the bite gets tough(even when it's not tought they're still good just don't get very many big bites on em)! Try em with a 6 or 7 inch roboworm! The zoom finesse worms are also ...

That's an old champ! Looks good though. My old tourney partner had a 1985 champion in 2000 and that thing still looked good. They seem to keep well...but I guess a lot it is how they're cared for. One thing I don't miss about wilson is the speed limit. Don't get me wrong I get it. But it's definitel...
