I will be there starting February 6th and I need to catch a peacock bass. I've only caught Largemouth and Smallmouth on Kauai, so I would like to head to Lake Wilson for my first Tuca. How much would it cost me for a guide?

I just started using braided line too. I didn't know you were supposed to tie a leader to the braid. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a strong braid for heavy cover? Anybody have any expertise on this subject?
