Sorry to hear about this Stan. I never made it over to the feeder but I wished I did. I was curious to what it would attract. I never even gave it thought that someone would steal it/sink it. I wonder if it was the people the Warden talked about in the speeding boats? Sad to say, it's just another e...

I fished Sunday also. Caught 5 decent tucs 14-15" all of them nailed a 5 inch jerkbait. Around 6:30 PM they went crazy for about 1/2 hour. Didn't see any on beds yet and just a few schoolers.

I frequently use both companies but I haven't had the issues you guys are having. BPS is usually pretty good but it's been a couple of months since I've ordered anything though. Last month I ordered a ton of stuff from Cabela's for my new bow and they did an awesome job! One thing I've never done is...

More fresh water to fish would be great! The Big Island sure has a lot of open land! I think Stan should go buy about 1000 acres and make a bass lake then give us all access to help him manage it! How bout it Stan?

Hey CA...that's pretty interesting about the zebra mussels. That's the first positive thing I've ever heard about them. All I ever heard is how much of a nuisance they are.

Skunked...FYI...My buddy in Texas said there are some hogs already up in the shallows @ Fork, Alan Henry and other lakes. White Texas rigged lizzards with light weights and tubes are working for him. Water temps are slowly creeping up. When are you going to Fork??

March 6

Fishing was so-so. Took the kayak out and caught sevral small tucs and one LM about 13" on 3" white Senkos. LM was in good shape, not fat but surely not mal-nourished. Good sign. :P Most of my action came from Blue Boat Pt up to Morgans. Didn't see any schooling. I did see the largest tucs I have ev...

I've been out of the loop for a while but I read some of the posts and I agree with a lot of you guys. The state really needs to do something about the lake NOW before it's too late. Unfortunately, I can only see the lake getting much worse in the future. It's such a shame too. When you see the lake...

Hey when you guys fish with live bait, are you using a small split shot sinker a few feet up and letting the bait free swim or are you controlling the bait with a tight line?

If you can, check out the Hickam Fishing Charter on base. I went last March and it cost us $600 for 6 people for 8-10 hrs. The best thing about Sonny (the capt) is he lets you keep all the fish if you want. We gave him a 23# mahi for a tip plus a few bucks. Good time!
