We deep hooked one and it didn't survive so we took it home with us. It was fantastic pan fried and served as fish tacos.

That swamp doesn't have snakeheads...and fish are quite a bit smaller so a buzzbait will likely be ignored. Small #1 gold spinner does get noticed though.

Working 6-7 days a week is rough. I actually do know how that feels since that's very typical for me (despite my traveling). Gotta take the odd day off life to fish once in a while. One day off a month isn't impossible at all.

If I have a choice, I choose kakus...they make muskies look like puppies and kittens. The muskies I caught didn't even really pull drag.
