caught a small peacock this past weekend.. but nothing else.. fish were busting up the topwater.. no real top water bite.. couldnt tell if they were bass or something else.. there was so much debris in the spot i was fishing i could barely get a retrieval without having something hanging off of my l...

yeah.. how was the fishing? What were they being caught on? I've been out there twice and have been skunked both times.. maybe because I was fishing from the shore?

any word on the lake? is it still advised to stay away from? I was looking at going some time soon because i'm pretty pumped about bass fishing on an island in the middle of the ocean..
