I really like phenix rods, they're ultra sensitive and super light! perfect for casting all day especially when paired up with a high quality reel.

The baits are on te heavier side at 3/4 oz. Next time I'll probably get some smaller ones as well. The skirt is hand tied with thread so it's not going to come off and looks like a solid piece

It's kind of sad, the mentality of most of hawaii when it comes to fishing is to "keep what you catch". I guess im not sharing any of my 'secret spots' now lol
