I bet the rain was tough to fish in, definitely helps to have the right gear for the conditions nature can throw at you....otherwise it can be flat out miserable! I was wearing full rain gear but by the end of the ...

New bucktail jig

http://s9.postimage.org/qap9s99d7/photo_91.jpg My uncle just ordered this as a template for some jigs we are going to tie. This company ties these jigs for peacock bass in south america. The jig with the extended tail is about eight inches longs. So do you guys think it will catch fish? My concern ...

Yeah we were fishing the grass in the south fork the other day because te water was high and there was a lot of submerged stuff. If the water is low enough I might go past the bridge thing and try fish by the south stream

Pro: cheaper and easier than a bass boat

Con: water not really clean
Fishable waters in the north fork hard to get to.

I have a outcast wave 8 pontoon boat. If you want to go out one day PM me.

South fork

Hey everyone! Can anyone give me tips on fishing the south fork. I'm planning on taking my pontoon boat out next weekend and paddling up the north fork is something I'd rather not do again. I'm probably going to specifically target peacock bass to make a video or a company in SoCal.
