Honestly its a combination of several things...the way it sits when you pause it, the popping action, and the walk motion. It doesn't look like a something special, kind of reminds me of a Rebel Pop-r, but it is has its differences. For schooling PB's and LM's it should be killer!

Thanks guys!

@Stan, that's them! They've become so popular here that Basspro had to put them behind the counter because people were stealing them. Kind of Pricy, but if they didn't catch fish I wouldn't have bought 3 more! The shad color should work great for Wilson.

It's been a while...

It's been a while since I got on the forum. How's the fishing been going? From the fishing reports I read, seems like it's the same old Lake Wilson; on and off day to day. Texas has been typical Texas....hot, hot, and some more hot!! That being said the fishing hasn't been too bad. Typical summer pa...

Hawaiian Bass bucket list complete

As most of you know, I'm heading back to the mother land(Texas) in couple of weeks for good! I've met some great fisherman and friends here in Hawaii, many of which I will still keep in contact with after I leave. Before I leave, I wanted to give it one more shot at catching a Hawaiian smallie befor...

I don't think it's the salt that's making the senko tear so easily but more the type of plastic that's used in making the bait itself. Gary Yammoto is notorious for making soft baits but they work and probably because they feel natural when a fish bites down on them. Salt is used more to make the ba...

Looks like you guys had an amazing time! The lakes that run through the White River are some of the best in country. I had a feeling you would catch some spots when I talked to you at the last club tournament . Congrats on the catches!

2 weeks ago I seen a small one hanging around the boat ramp, maybe 6" at best. But last year when the water was real high, I found two in a cove guarding hundreds of fry. They're still around, probably just not as many as there were back in the day.

Is your boat an actual "Livingston" or is that the style of your boat, Tri-hull? I seen game fisher, tri-hull boat behind the Masonic Temple but on the opposite bank. This was about two weeks ago though. It should still be in that area because I think they we're using the boat to cross to the other ...

Hey Mel,

I was wondering if you had an idea when some Phenix rods would be hitting some stores here in Hawaii. I had a rod break this past week and it gives me an excuse to try out a Phenix rod!
