How's the water clarity after all the rain?

I was pretty stoked when that first one hit. Them buggers. Sure do put up a fight even when they are 9in long at most.

Just some red and white fly I picked up at Sawada for 70 cents.

Got to the lake around 7am, landed 2 tucs by noon at the ramp and another 4 between 1:30 and 3:00 in the same spot. My son landed his first fish(also a tuc) ever just after 2:00 at the ramp. We were using fly and bobber. Was a pretty good day, 5th trip to the lake and finally started catching them.[...

Awesome. Going to try and get out there tomorrow. 2 weeks of not fishing and I am having withdrawals.

Anyone make it out to the lake this past Saturday? Wondering if I missed any good fishing since my planned trip out there was canked. How has the water been clearing up?

I was out there 630-930 didn't get squat. Just got rained on the whole morning. Cut my fishing short due to some two-toothed tranny walking around the boat ramp area offering "services".

Got here about 630, sure enough second cast it starts lightening. Could see quite a few tucs around the boat ramp.

I figure it will be. Just a goood tme to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet from the normal day to day grind.

I was out there first thing that morning shorefishing. Had about a 9" LMB on up until he jumped and spit the lure out about 3 ft from me. Went back after him and managed to have my line cut on something underwater. Second trip out to the lake with many more to come. Hope to see some of the usuals ou...
