Hmm,
I'm going to Japan for a visit the end of this month - I'll try to remember to look at the manhole covers to see how many different ones I see. Maybe even ask one of the locals why their town/city selected that particular design.

Barbless hooks
I've been using barbless hooks for a while now, especially when I'm fishing "catch & release". It's an optional thing in the HFFA but I think it's something worth looking into for all tournament fishing at Lake Wilson/Wahiawa Reservoir. I'm not sure if you lose any more fish fishing with barbles...
