It's possible that Pacu released into Lake Wilson could flourish and breed and I wouldn't be surprised what one could catch in the lake...

Boat Registration Question

I registered my inflatable at the DLNR office on Queen Street last month. They informed me that if your boat is more than 8' and has a gas motor it has to be registered. Trickier part is how you plan to put your boat numbers on your inflatable. I opted to place my numbers on clear plastic and then m...

Stan,

We'll post signage at Wahiawa Middle School pointing to where the hatchery is located in the back of the school campus. There's a lot of parking available near the hatchery.

Crash,

Thanks for the generous offer for lunch, looking forward to tasting
that pulled pork after a morning's work cleaning the hatchery.

Brock will hopefully be getting a head count for you a few days before the cleanup day. I think he's also in contact with Stan as well.

HFFA monthly fishing tournament & tagged LMB

What was encouraging to see today were the Tuc fingerlings (2-4") hiding out under the tree branches, a sign that the Tucs are successfully breeding.

HFFA monthly fishing tournament & tagged LMB

The monthly HFFA fishing tournament was held today and the Tucs were busting all over the place in the morning -the action slowed down in the afternoon. Needless to say most fish caught by club members were Tucs. Two tagged LM bass were also caught. Here's the tag numbers and the weights of the fish...
