The State record for Pacu was supposedly caught in Manoa Pond (?) If this is the pond that I'm thinking off, it's not very big but it does hold some nice sized koi. It's possible that Pacu released into Lake Wilson could flourish and breed and I wouldn't be surprised what one could catch in the lake...

What was encouraging to see today were the Tuc fingerlings (2-4") hiding out under the tree branches, a sign that the Tucs are successfully breeding.

The monthly HFFA fishing tournament was held today and the Tucs were busting all over the place in the morning -the action slowed down in the afternoon. Needless to say most fish caught by club members were Tucs. Two tagged LM bass were also caught. Here's the tag numbers and the weights of the fish...
