thanks for the help everyone, oh god skunked heres the other question. what reel would i get to match the rod? i was looking at the cheaper end revos and the citica. im leaning towards the citica

carrot stick ($100 one), veritas, vendetta, shimano compre. out of these which one do you think is the most durable and gets the most bang for your buck. i guess i would be getting this rod for finesse type fishing. thanks for the help.

there was smallmouth in that pond but they were more near the inlet, i only fished the middle. smallmouth are my favorite out of the 3 haha

sweet, i know EXACTLY where that is, my favorite smallmouth spot by far, was there any bass in that waterfall thing? i havent caught anything there. what did you use for lures? i like the 3 inch senkos in green pumpkin and mini jigs. nice catches!

i think ill just bring my 3 prong and snorkel next time, to bad the water isnt clear..

heres the largmouth i caught, doesnt look as fat in the picture but at least it wasnt skinny

launched my kayak out this morning at around 8, paddled to boy scout island and there was fish busting everywhere! all around us from all angles. i was casting a white senko weightless and texas rigged. i caught 1 largemouth that was actually a good sized one, nice and fat. after that we caught NOTH...

oh i see haha, i wanted to get into the early bite tomorrow thats why.
