muddy water techniques?

Just wondering what the best techniques are when the water is muddy? I have used spinners, cranks, jigs, jerks, worms, and top water baits. I have been catching a few here and there. Maybe i dont stick to one technique for a long period, but after a while i get bored and try something different. Eve...

Thanks for all the compliments. I built a deck on my previous boat too, and both boats seem very stable. Standing on this boat is very easy. I think it might be more stable with the deck on it. It did put on some weight, so my 15hp motor might need an upgrade soon. Got the bilge pump hooked up. I go...

I was thinking of buying a depth and fish finder. does anyone know of a decent one to buy and where from? I wanted to buy it on island. Maybe West Marine? Budget is about $400. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Extra Parts?

I am looking to convert my 15hp evinrude tiller into a remote steering type. I have looked into buying all the needed parts, but they will cost about $600. Anyone have any extra parts for this type of converson? Parts needed would be a shift box, steering wheel, and shift & throttle cables. Let ...

Thursday Fishing

Went out late thursday 4pm-6pm. Caught about 8 decent largemouths and my dad picked up this nice 3.4lb one. Caught it on a worm...didnt get much action on cranks or spinners.

If anyone goes into the mud or water, make sure to protect yourself. Wear boots and cover up any body parts that may contact the mud or water. Monday me and a friend went into the mud to collect a few abanden boats, 2 hrs later we were both were very sick. I had a 102 fever and a very sore body. I w...

The bass in the picture was with a 6inch senko. The fun part of the day was catching bass on topwater. They were blowing up the spook lures we were throwing at them.
