The water level is hanging around 77 ft so it would be no problem to go up to end of the north fork. I will be taking the kids and they have never been up there so I'll see what I can do. We released around 400 fish about three months ago. All of them were in the 6-8in range with a few larger ones. ...

Stan,

We're meeting at the hatchery at 9am. It will probably take about one or two hours to load up then off to the lake for the release. Anybody have a request for what area to release some of the bass?

Hi Guys, I talked to the State and just as I suspected it is NOT okay to release the Temensis into the lake. While it is on the list of fish that is legal to bring into the State, releasing it is another matter. That comes under the Dept. of Agriculture and we have had problems with them before on b...

Alec,

Just to let you know that our website is still a work in progress. Steve must have used an old rulebook. Everything listed on the website is experimental only.

Hey Stan,

Just to let you know that our website is still a work in progress and is not ready. Steve was basically asking for suggestions as to what we should include. Will let everyone know when it's ready for public reading.

As I write this, the water level is at 62.33 and dropping about a half foot a day. Remember, the State has told Dole to keep the level at between 60-65 feet. Dole has previously kept the level at 60 feet so by Monday of next week the water level should be kept constant at 60 feet-of course this depe...

Sunday (8-15-10) Tournament Report

It was a so-so tournament in terms of size but seven out of ten anglers caught fish so technically it was a good tournament. Kelton won as usual with a nice 8lb 4oz total that included two bass over 3lbs. He said he caught eight bass altogether (we only count the top three for total weight). He smok...

Ca_Bass-the tournament is today, the 15th. It would probably be too late to fish todays tournament. What I would suggest is you attend our monthly meeting at Dots in Wahiawa. It's the last Wednesday of every month except December at 7 pm. Fisher Dude, unfortunately the Jackpot Tournament is only onc...

Results of the 2nd Annual Lake Wilson Tournament

Hi Guys, sorry I’m so late with this report. It was a very interesting tournament. I use the word interesting when the fishing is hard. Eleven boats were entered and seven caught fish. Four out of five club boats and three out of six outside boats got lucky. I guess you darksiders need to practice m...

The water level has dropped about 3.5 feet since a week ago. According to the water gauge, the water has leveled off for the last six hours. I guess the rain from last night has finally reached the lake. Remember, the State has told Dole to keep the water level at 65-60 feet for flood control. As lo...

Hi Guys, Sorry I'm late with this report but I forgot that Lance does not work on Monday. I just got off the phone with him and he said we have six outside boats entered in the Jackpot Tournament. With five from the club we have a total of eleven boats entered, which is one more than last year. Get ...

Sunday Tournament Report

Not much to report-at least not by last years standards. Nine anglers showed up and caught eight fish. Remember, our tournaments are lures only, no live bait. As Stan has posted often lately, we caught a lot of bass and tucs in the 4-8 inch range. Unfortunately our minimum size for weigh in is 10 in...
