tkki1230, do you keep a lifelist? Just wondering. If you are interested in species fishing and lifelisting, we can meet up and fish together next time I visit my family on Oahu. There are still a lot of reef fish I need to catch on Oahu...and some freshwater micro exotic fish like Swordtail, Sailfi...

Hi Marcus. I take my kids fishing in the UH pond sometimes. We've caught a bunch of different cichlid species (convict, jewel banded, midas, and jaguar) and I hooked and lost a koi. I haven't seen any pacu so I can't say for sure if there are still any in there. I'm not sure if it's officially OK, ...

How's it looking out there?
Anyone go out today? I was thinking about going out tomorrow, but I wanted to know if the water is wasted from the recent storm.

What size pond you got? I've got some BGs trained on pellets now. After a week or so, I'd throw in some crickets or meal worms to get the BGs eating, then finish with some pellets. Now when I walk up to the pond, the BGs come right up to me wanting to be fed! 8) My pond is more like a big tub. I th...

I finally got around to putting in some fishing today. From reading everyone's posts, I figured I might as well catch some Bluegill fingerlings from this year's spawn to put into my pond. The Bluegill were everywhere like everyone said, but I was very surprised at their sizes. These fish are at leas...

If you walk to morgans the cali grass is 4-6ft high there's a way to get there I see a guy at morgans early in the morning sometimes but I have no idea how he gets there the grass is thick. There might be a narrow trail but he's the only hardcore guy. And the fishing at morgans hasn't been all that...

I think he's talking about the "Birthing Stone" at Kam Hyw./Whitmore Ave. At that intersection, there is a small parking area in the old pineapple field, walk straight passed the Birthing Stone and you will come out near Morgan's Point. Google that intersection. Is it safe to park, or is there a lo...
