Charlie Moore No Offense show

I had to tape the show here in Virginia Sunday morning, because I had a tournament. Watched the tape Sunday evening and again after work Monday. Only bad thing is the secret is now out, sure did make me want to come back!! Good thing it wasn't a "Beat Charlie Moore show", because Chis sure did put a...

G-Man

The G-Man is a good guy!! A pic of him leaving the ramp at last years Smith Mountain Elite tournament. He has the Vicious Fishing line sponsorship on board now too. The new Pro Elite Flurocarbon line is great!! Most of the guys I have met or fished with are all good guys, at least the ones on the Ba...

KVD

Have seen him at work at the Blue Ridge Brawl on Smith Mountain Lake here in Virginia. Never could get lucky enough to fish with him when they still allowed coanglers. Another great win for bass fishings greatest we have to admit now!!! http://s2.postimage.org/1fbxb7uck/scan0023.jpg http://s2.postim...

Stan, it would be nice to trade some lessons, but it is a long way from Va. to Lake Wilson. Roadwarriorvt has seen the largemouth technique, it is a very slow, boring way to catch really big bass that win tournaments. It is all with jigs with trailers. You either want to catch 20 or 30 fish a day or c...

I wish we could get Mike Iaconelli here for an episode of City Limits Fishing. Is that show still on? Mark Zona's WGFS is good too. I like that City Limits show too! Ike is always good for a laugh or two. I have had the chance to fish tournaments that Ike has fished on the Pro side and he seems to ...

Charlie Moore

I was just talking with my tournament partner yesterday about "The Mad Fisherman" and his tv show. Then I got to run off my mouth about my fishing time on Lake Wilson last June. Now Charlie shows up out there filming a show. It is a small fishing world!! lol Boston and Virginia are a long way from L...

Isn't Smith Mountain Lake where KVD won earlier this year? Did you get to see any of the festivities during that tournament? I went to the final weigh in it was a sight fishing tournament. They were on the bed everywhere, just had to find the bigger fish to be competitive. I fished the Elite Tourna...

I can't say 100% that I can, but as long as work doesn't interfere, I can take you around on a Stratos 176XT, wimpy by mainland standards, but overkill for our humble lake. Wow, that would be great. June is still a long winter away here in Va. so I know how things could change at work and other thi...

yes jigs arent very intresting for tucs, whole diffrent ballgame. but the ole jig and craw/pig will get largemouth when the goin gets tuff.junes a good time for tucs though water heats up and they get "frisky" Sounds like we picked the right time then! Any ideas on how to get sometime on the water w...

I 2nd the congrats on the anniversary. Be warned that tucs are nothing like largemouths. Slow baits like jigs and worms won't work well. You need a fast moving minnow imitating bait to be successful with the peacocks here. There are many skilled anglers on this board (like OO7) who will be able to ...

Virginia boy after Hawaiian Peacocks

Coming to Hawaii in June 2010 for 25th anniversery and can't stand to not give Lake Wilson a try. I hate the idea of being a tourist, but I guess that is what I would be. My home lake in Virginia is Smith Mountain Lake, part of the Bassmaster Elite Trail. I have to laugh with me being 5000 miles away...
