I knew a guy used to eat the catfish he would keep them alive in a plastic storage bin with a aerator and change the water every day till the water is clean and the fish turns white to light gray! The first days water is nasty. He said it makes a big difference!

I used to dunk for oio in Kaneohe walk out past casting distance then throw in sand pockets it's about 3-6 deep at high tide. Do you folks actually see the oio then cast or just blind cast. Quick question the catfish not a problem but koi? I see them around but never hooked any is there a trick or they want them netted? Do they want them alive? I could spear um lol! But nets and any other way is illegal or we got a outlaw pass on the lake for a weekend!
