i took the float tube out saturday as well, i was also at the lake before sunrise, ha ha. had pretty good luck with the largemouths with sort of a "junk fishing" approach. caught bass on spinnerbaits, cranks, lipless cranks, soft plastics, and even caught a decent one on a jig....i think the water b...

Tom was a hell of a nice guy. he always had a kind greeting for me on the lake. sucks to hear that news.

dont think the water temps reached into the 60's this year. good report. with the way the lake levels are dropping, you gotta get down on that grass bite while its still there. im a little worried whats gonna happen to the smaller and fingerling bass once the grass goes away.....

the way the lake has been fishing lately, you gotta split it 50/50, you may not feel a "tug" like that again for a while!! ha ha

and by the way, this IS NOT to offend abyine or piss anyone off. im not gonna say anything else. we're all fishermen here, and i respect all y'all.

lol, im just saying, if your catching fish on a crankbait next to logs in 5ft, of water, i think you shouldnt be stingy, and you should post it to let people know. but to ask for a picture of the bait, and specific spots is a little much.....

im all about sharing some info to help others catch but, common man, find your own fish, its half the fun!!!

most guys head to the right. i usually fish out that way on my tube, and have done pretty well...hope that helps.

i just recently have been ordering new rods from BPS. im getting all of the quantum pt energy rods, and the pflueger patriarch reels. those reels are AMAZING!! im definately saving the packaging that the rods are coming in, so when i move back to the mainland, i can trust them (somewhat) with the mo...

again, just my opinion. but i think ALL fish can be patterned. Tucs may be ALOT harder to pattern than some of the other fish, but i think they can.
