When you come onto the website, instead of clicking the forums, click on the lures/flies page. Lots of good info there.

New Fish Structure Placed In The North Fork

Placed by Mother Nature. This will render the Rapids inaccessible by boat now. I'm thinking that the tree will get clogged with debris floating down stream. Perhaps it will hold some fish though. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y288/roadwarriorsvt/20150107_165010_zpsgfrfpqiw.jpg

As long as you know what is legally allowed and are ok knowing the boat doesn't fit within the rules, can't really say much if the DLNR cites you. I'll bet if you had of just got the boat and not mentioned it on a public furum that you had a boat that was illegal to have in the Lake, no one would ha...

For The Unlucky Fisherman

Costco now has farm raised catfish fillets for sale. I fried up some tonight. There were about 5 large fillets for $14.00. Don't know how long they'll be in stock but they were good. The cold beer helped to. :D

In Rememberance of 9/11/01.

As bass fisherman, a lot of us are boaters. Its a little known fact that boaters played a huge part in the evacuation of Manhattan Island on 9/11/01. This video shows regular guys, like you and me, stepping up and doing what had to be done that horrible day. You never know when/if we will need to pu...

North Fork Animals

The grandson and I found a few different animals this evening. First was this mama Jackson chameleon. After petting her for a bit, she was on her way. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y288/roadwarriorsvt/20140910_174902_zpszklb5hdl.jpg Then this 12-14" smallmouth was relaxing at the base of the wate...
