Weekend Fishin
All, Had a pretty good weekend fishing. Saturday the Tucs were schooling all around Kemoo Island. All were caught on a 1/4oz, gold castmaster, letting it flutter to the bottom until one hit. (pic 1 is a 4lb'r from sat). Caught 14 by 1100am. On Sunday I took the wife and we caught 19 among the both o...

High and muddy water can be a good thing. It usually pushs the fish from the deeper waters to the edges where the bait fish go to in muddy conditions. I have caught most of my bigger fish during these conditions. Try using a jig or spinnerbait in the grass areas where the water changes from muddy to...

25 Jul Fishing & SOCAL
Fished all day on 25 Jul and only caught 1 Peacock (see Pic). Caught him on a 1/4oz spinnerbait, slow rolling, in about 15ft of water. Also enclosed are some pics from my Family vacation in Southern Cali during July. I had an opportunity to go fishing at Dixon Lake outside San Diego. This lake is th...

Sunday, Fishing Report
All, Fished from 900am to 300pm and only caught 2 Largemouth. These were caught slow rolling a white spinnerbait in about 12ft of water along the banks at Kincades. The water temp got up to 73 degrees and the water is pretty clear around this area. Both fish looked skinny, as if there are no bait fi...

Stan, Thanks for getting the Tag information, thats pretty cool!! I have caught alot of fish that were tagged and I think I am going to start keeping a log to track the fish (another hobby). Do you know anyone on Island that makes Fish Replicas from Pics?? It would be nice to get one from this fish.

5 Fish, 1 BIG BOY
Me and my Wife went out on Saturday and I caught 5 Peacocks. All were caught slow rolling a 1/4oz spinnerbait (white, W/Silver Willow Blade) in the grass along the banks. One was caught around the flower gardens and the rest were caught along the bank at Mikimiki Flats. Here I caught my largest Peac...

Hungry Bass
I though everyone would get a kick out of this picture. Back in August, I was heading back to the ramp and saw a Largemouth floating on top of the water. I scooped it up with my dip net. In the Bass's mouth was a 10in Sucker fish (not sure of the real name). I guess either the Bass was real hungry o...
