Spool her up 30lb braid (thats how I do my wifes rod). Smaller diameter than the mono and it cuts right through grass (easier to undo tangles as well that my wife somehow always manages).

Sorry fellas, have been on the ship and haven't been online for a bit. Speaking of those, I've never caught a Tuc before, but notice a bunch of people are always using those boga grips to handle the bass. Are they needed? Are their teeth that bad?

Yup a shakey in saltwater. Caught two more smaller ones on a crankbait. They weren't photogenic haha

I would have to agree with Stan, it depends on the situation. 80% of the time I'm usually using Inviz-X flourocarbon, but I always have a rods with superbraid for topwater/timber and the only time I use mono is for treble hooks.
