State buys gailbraith trust land

So the state purchased 1500 acres from the trust, gonna keep it Ag so they say, donated 500 acre to kam school? Around the birth stones. So does this mean they own the lake now? It was part of the trust and on that land parcel ? What does this mean to us I wonder .

The 60ft marker on Boy Scout peninsula was just poking out of the water on Saturday. With 8 slats showing. So by now it should be fully exposed with 10 slats showing. It's been dropping at roughly 1 slat a day if you gauge by the ramp. I forget how many slats before mud but by this weekend launching...

The fuego is nice no doubt, got a great deal on it last Christmas when tacklewharehouse was discounting em. Keep an eye out cause the always have sweet deals at this time if year. I have the president and trion too and both have served me well no complaints and for the price they can't be beat.

ya its still dropping pretty fast, could be a very dry christmas. i guess we will be back to the way it used to be back in the 80s and 90s before dole went belly up. water fluctuated drastically all the time, and at time was completely gone. was nice when no one was using the water for irrigation th...

Faded line might be better anyway . After all it will less of a silouhette than a black or dark line. If in doubt tie 6 ft of flouro leader on with a double uni knot. That first 6 ft seems to work just fine for sensitivity.

anyone know why they seem to be taking it so low? its gotta be way below the 65ft level by now. personally i like it at 72-74ft but i can live with 68ft. i have always thought 65ft was too low and it seems to still be dropping.

saw a guy on my way home tonight standing out on the point at the military housing side of miki miki flats about 30ft out in the middle of the lake and it was only knee deep on him, real real slow when you take that corner and im sure there are several that are just as hidden, drive slow and safe!
