better hurry an release them fingerlings soon!!!! the water level will be out of the grass in less than a week the way its dropping and the poor guys will be exposed to hungry bass/tucs and whatever else can fit em in thier mouths!

im sure the reason is complicated, but forage is definatley part of the equation. i recall the good ole days you could walk on the tilapia at the effluent discharge,dont see many these days either. but like assasin says there were always skinny fish at times even in the prime.

yep get rid of the devils and bring in some crayfish!! lotsa crayfish! bluegill work too. notice the bass get skinnier in the summer. must the metabolism outdoin the nurishment the shad provide, still dont think the bass and tucs cancel each other out, they did fine together for what 80 plus years. ...

love the carrot stix sooo light and very sensitive, have a spinning and a casting one i got when they were onsale for 89$ and both are in the medium heavy and i think 6'9" size. had to learn to recast em they are so diffrent feeling from the heavier rods. i read alot of bad reviews on them breaking ...

before people start harvesting gamefish id like to see the invasive species gone first and crayfish as a second forage re introduced back in numbers into the lake and see if that makes a diffrence.

dont feel to bad this isnt like mainland fishing, although its improved the past 2 years there are more not catching days than catching days, and saturday was ton the tuff side.

boat sizes aside,as long as we all keep it withing reason i dont see a problem with size of outboard or boat, just keep in mind there are alot of kayaks and rubber rafts and guys with electric motors and at full plane on a bassboat in our little lake it wouldnt take me for disaster around a corner. ...

not so much for me, miki miki flats area was bust central in the morning. but always out of range and the ones i did get very little runt tucs, nothing over a lb. alot of work chasing for 2 fish.glad someone was hitting hawgs cause i threw into cover all morning with jigs and worms and creatures and...
