Nice looking boats. I fished from an older aluminum Tracker back in the early 90's. I never recalled ever seeing sleek bass boats back then.

I bet those two boats turn a few heads.

What do you fish from?

I'm interested in seeing what others fish on. Boats, Float tubes, Kayaks?

Bank fishers also chime in.

Obviously, being in the middle of the Pacific has it's disadvantages to us freshwater anglers.

Would it be to much to ask to see all of your boats? Maybe this should be another thread.

Welcome Jay. Nothing wrong with lurking dude, I've been doing it for years. :D

These guys have some amazing info to share and I make sure to take it all in, as I'm sure you do as well.

One word of advice, don't trust that Stan Wright guy. :) 8)

What hand do you reel with on spincasters/baitcasters?

I'm a right handed caster and only using spinning reels with a left hand retrieve. Same with baitcasters, I cast with the right hand and reel with left.

Is this common for a right handed person? Seems like a majority of reels are made for a right-handed retrieve.

We always used a 1/8 or 1/16 oz chart. Road Runner with a 2" Powerbait grub/chart. tail on light spinning tackle. Worked well for us. I also remember a lot of the local kids "decoying" (as they called it) Tucs during spawning. They'd catch one of the pair, put it on a rope stringer through a hole th...

Depending on the date, we will be happy to provide pulled pork sandwiches for the volunteers. Free, of course.

Good points by both of you and I totally remember the fluctuations of water level. That hasnt changed, and doubt it ever will.

I dont remember any issues with the dam back in the 90s. Then again, there was no forum to discuss this stuff.

Did anyone launch this weekend?

Spawning Tucs and low water

I have a few questions that I would love to hear opinions on...because I just dont know. How low can the lake level get with the dam valve broken? Can it empty almost completely, leaving only pockets of standing water? If the lake can hold enough water to stay at pool above the broken valve, what do...
