That's a nice fish on that Tenkara. You have to have sweet skills on one of those rods with light line to land a 2lb Tuc.

Nice work and congrats!

That second fish looks awfully Pongee-ish. Looks like some kind of Cichlid/Pongee hybrid to me. Was the mouth toothy at all?

Very interesting catch.

I plan on attending my first TUHI meeting on 8/17. If anyone has a back seat available for this tournament I'll be happy to pay my fair share.

Awesome videos! Reminds me of fishing the upper north fork of Lake Wilson 25+ years ago. Those are some of the best fishing memories I have. Peace and quiet and just enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. 100% agreed. Those are easily some of my best memories as well. And never, ever saw another pers...

I'm a big fan of the 4# test and Light tackle. Lost more big ones than I landed, but I'm betting I've gotten bitten by more big ones to.

Not trying to hijack this thread at all, but we would love a headcount so that HIBBQ can make sure to have more than enough BBQ for this event. If anyone is interested, we'll also be competing this weekend in the Up In Smoke competition this Sunday (6/19) at Aloha Stadium. Feel free to stop by and s...

We'll be out there representing hibarbeque.com and cooking lunch for all of the volunteers. Definitely award winning pulled pork and possibly brisket sandwhiches as well.

Make sure to come out for an ono free lunch.
