Another day was spent hiking the upper streams of the north fork. The water was super clear but just trickling in some areas as there hasnt been much rain recently. Some decent sized and depth ponds were around with some Bass and cichlids in it. There were a ton of Jeweled Cichlids though. This time...

Good advice from Pegasus. Live is the way to go from shore. Same thing w/ me when I first started. If you cant find Tilapia, then just get some comets from a pet store. You'll be home in time for supper!

We went walking on the south shore flats since the winds were down and came across this guy. I think it was just luck really cuz the water was a bit murky and couldnt really see the bottom.
