I guess same question with the upper north fork past the bridge???

Anyone ever fish up the south fork of lake wilson? We took a ride up there w/ the fishfinder and saw a few things, not much. Just wondering whats up there as nothing was "busting" the water nor was there any pleco's gulping air. Its a really nice area and the water looks inviting but no bites.

Does anyone know the differences in coloration of the male tuc and female tuc? Like male and femail hinalea, some have drastic color differences. Aloha.

Manoa stream is full of those plecos. And yes they do get huge 12"+ and they are hardy. But I read in an earlier post that the holes were made by red devils? Also, strange that the plecos would need to come to the surface since they spend all their time on the bottom. Thanks for the info.

Was at the lake on sunday on a boat! We saw a blackish colored fish rise to the surface from the deep, hit the surface, for no apparent reason except what looked like to gulp air, then went back down. What is that? Remember, I'm a rookie so this is probably a really dumb question. :roll: Just trying...

Hi, I just started FW fishing about a month ago and I'm hooked!- no pun intended. :D But since I'm boatless, I've only been going to the ramp and vicinity. What other "public" shoreline access points are there? I'm not a kid anymore so if busted in an "illegal" area, don't think they'll buy my story...
