Water not murky but not clear I could only see about 2ft down with my polarized sunglasses. When we first arrived we saw a school of about 4 to 5 medium peacock bass schooling ...

Buy a minnow trap.. stick a piece of bread in it .. go to your local canal and throw it in.. If you leave part of the trap out of the water in the shallows I've noticed that you catch more any there you go! Live bait is the way to go especially if your sight fishing. They cant resist and watching th...

Well like I said I have had it for years and have done nothing with it. I'll take 150 or best offer if anyone is interested on here and if not ill just sell it on eBay. I prefer my braided line and little spinning reels for the shore fishing I do. http://s7.postimage.org/i63qki17r/3_D37_C089_2575076...

Has it been used? It's a pretty solid reel and Orvis is a top manufacturer. Is there a case and/or any paperwork to go with it? I've never used it and looks brand new.. it has the leather case it came in shown in the picture I posted. It says made in England and has a paper. It states 3 1/4 oz and ...

Fished from 11am to 3:30pm today near Boyscout Island. Caught 6 P/B and lost about that many but had a fun day. Caught most by the shore and all on live bait. THE DARKSIDE!!  I think that was our ticket today. Water level is down and water was pretty clear. I took and posted a lit...

Is that a page out of mike sakamoto's book?? I love that book it taught me a lot about salt water and just fishing in general. Looks like it but anyways I got to try this out next time I go if I dont use live bait   ... I noticed a lot of peacock bass busting up and down the shore.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering where you guys got the minnow traps? I went to sports authority in honolulu but they were out. I also checked walmart but they had nothing. I used live Tilapia for the first time last week after I threw every lure I had in my tacklebox without landing...
